    Hello,

I recently bought a US version of MD802 Elite. I did all the required updates that included system program, OBD 2 software, and vehicle software. However, whenever I do an OBDII scan, the machine reports a linking error. I attempt the OBDII scan when the vehicle key is on, and I am sure it is not any loose connection on the vehicle because I have tried the OBD II scan on more than one vehicle and it has never succeeded. If anyone out there encountered the same issue and overcame it, please tell me what I need to do to make this machine work.

I am in Africa, I used the machine on a 2006 Toyota Prado, and 2010 Land Cruiser.

I am desperate for your help.

    Thank you.

     Hi there
Toyota does not correspond to OBD2.

Please to diagnose in SCAN → ASIAN → TOYOTA

tried this with a 1998 Prado, select coorect vehicle, down to MD802 reporting the correct engine, but unit cannot connect to anything in auto scan, nor by direct selection.
